Surfing in and around Ericeira
Ericeira has a array of surf breaks, ranging from tubing reefs, punchy beach breaks, to long point breaks.
Being in such close proximity to Lisbon means there is always potential for crowds, but there are so many breaks that this needn't be a problem - i surfed on my lonesome in great waves many a time.
It is very consistent and powerful and has a swell window of almost 180° - it is rarely flat.
There are conditions to suit most type of surfer.
